In the Folds Jersey Dress for summer

When I made my Aliexpress fabric order for mid-weight cotton slub knits (destined to become two winter dresses), I threw in some plain cotton/spandex jersey to keep on hand. As with the cotton slub knits, I was impressed with the quality of the cotton/spandex and decided to sew it up straight away.

It was REALLY windy when we tried to take these photos, so these are the best of a bad lot. All of those drape lines basically disappear in person.

In the Folds Wide Leg Pants

If you follow me on Instagram, you will know my excitement over In The Folds’ latest pattern release for Peppermint Sewing School: the Wide Leg Pants. Wide leg, high waist pants seem to be the latest trend in the online sewing community, and I think In The Folds’ version is the best executed pattern so far. Given my previous positive experiences with their pattern drafting, sewing their latest release was an easy decision.

In the Folds Peplum Top

I’m sure you’ve heard of this pattern already – it’s been immensely popular in the online sewing community and it seems I can’t scroll my Instagram feed without seeing another version pop up! The pattern in question, of course, is the In the Folds Peplum Top, a free download from Peppermint Magazine.
